Our Practice

Our office has a whole health approach to patient care, as we know that there is no "magic bullet" treatment for any given condition.  Patients who come to our office receive a thorough evaluation and diagnosis.  The whole health approach implies that we believe that a patient cannot be treated as individual parts.  A patient is the sum of his / her parts, and all the "parts" affect each other.  Thus, we evaluate and treat the entire patient, because our goal is a whole, healthier patient.

Once we have an evaluation and diagnosis of the patient's condition, we want the patient to understand what is going on, and what we will do to help them.  It is important to us that the patient knows what is going on, and have an understanding of what therapy we will use to help them.  We believe that patient education plays a big role in speed of recovery and prevention.

Spinal Decompression

Spinal decompression therapy is a chiropractic technique that works with the use of a specialized moving table. The treatment goal is to gently restore the disc and joints to their proper alignment, and relieve pressure on pain-sensitive nerves. Spinal decompression therapy is very different from traction. It does not use cables, pulleys, weights, or excessive force. It is performed by the doctor contacting the problem area of the spine and uses the motion of the table to gently align the spine and shrink the bulging disc. If you would like to learn more about this therapy, call us and specify you would like to speak to the doctor about spinal decompression.

Alternative Medicine and Nutrition

Many patients have turned to "Natural Medicine" for medical conditions such as Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue, or Lyme's Disease.  Other conditions such as Cardiovascular (Heart) conditions, Arthritis, multi-joint pain, or Women's Hormones issues can be addressed skillfully and effectively using natural means.

If you’ve been to a chiropractor before and prefer to be adjusted in a particular way, let us know. We want you to relax, enjoy and fully benefit from your chiropractic care.

Dr. Tsui Asks some important questions of interest to Timonium residents - Chiropractor Timonium Dr. Tsui Asks...

Can someone who has had back surgery receive chiropractic care?
Yes. Rest assured that we will avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. However, what we find is that surgical interventions will often produce spinal instability above or below the involved level. This is will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
Can chiropractic cure a child's ear infections?
Chiropractic isn't a cure for anything. Nor is it a treatment for ear infections. However, many children who suffer with ear infections also suffer from spinal problems in their neck, compromising nerves to the ear, depressing the immune system and preventing proper drainage. Can chiropractic help? Find out!
