Introducing Timonium Chiropractor, Dr. Kin Tsui

"I never saw it coming…I felt a bolt of lightning down my leg." recalls Dr. Tsui. "I was in my early 20’s when I seriously injured my back while working out." Dr. Tsui continues, "I remember the pain and frustration, but mostly the lack of guidance as to how to get better, until a co-worker referred me to her sister’s chiropractor." Dr. Tsui explains, "It seemed like the right thing to do, since I didn’t want to take drugs for the pain, and nothing else was helping. I had never been to a chiropractor before, but I had heard a little bit about chiropractic. I had some trepidation, but ultimately, I made my appointment because I wasn’t able to function. I didn’t get better on the first visit, but each visit built upon the next, and eventually, I recovered."

"I was so amazed by the effectiveness of my care, that I decided to change the direction of my career path.", revealed Dr. Tsui. "I was in the middle of my Master's Degree in Physiology, but after my experience, I was inspired to help others as I had been helped by my chiropractor."

Already with a Bachelor’s of Science degree from the University of Windsor in Ontario, Canada, Dr. Tsui enrolled at the National College of Chiropractic (now the National University of Health Sciences) where he completed his second Bachelor’s of Science Degree, and attained his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree. He also had the honor of holding the Fellowship position in the Physiology Department at the Chiropractic College while completing his studies.

Dr. Tsui met and married Dr. Pietrowski while at Chiropractic College in Illinois, and together, they started their practice in Timonium. He and his wife have 2 children ages 12 and 10.

Dr. Tsui stays in shape by keeping up with his kids on the baseball field or on the bike trails. He also tries to find time to work out at the gym, and gets regular chiropractic care from Dr. Pietrowski.

Occasionally, you may see Dr. Tsui at a health fair or a lecture, where he would take the time to talk to you about chiropractic care. If you are curious as to how he can help you can get better, give our office a call. Visit with Dr. Tsui; he will take the time to listen, and discuss your current health concerns. Hopefully, this appointment will be your first step towards better health.

Dr. Tsui Asks some important questions of interest to Timonium residents - Chiropractor Timonium Dr. Tsui Asks...

Can someone who has had back surgery receive chiropractic care?
Yes. Rest assured that we will avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. However, what we find is that surgical interventions will often produce spinal instability above or below the involved level. This is will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
Can chiropractic cure a child's ear infections?
Chiropractic isn't a cure for anything. Nor is it a treatment for ear infections. However, many children who suffer with ear infections also suffer from spinal problems in their neck, compromising nerves to the ear, depressing the immune system and preventing proper drainage.
